For those who can't or don't want to run VSTS, here is the sound alternative.
Announcing xUnit.net
In the 5 years since the release of NUnit 2.0, there have been millions of lines of code written using the various unit testing frameworks for .NET. About a year ago it became clear to myself and Brad Wilson that there were some very clear patterns of success (and failure) with the tools we were using for writing tests. Rather than repeating guidance about "do X" or "don't do Y", it seemed like it was the right time to reconsider the framework itself and see if we could codify some of those rules.

Incredibly useful tool for learning, understanding and using LINQ.
Download LINQPad
This lets you try stuff out immediately when you are working out code bits.
The LINQPad Challenge
If you think that you understand LINQ—or would like to—then I invite you to take the LINQPad challenge. The rules are simple:
- Locate the shortcut for SQL Management Studio on your Start Menu and move it some place else.
- In its place, insert a shortcut to LINQPad.
- For the next week, perform all your ad-hoc SQL queries using only LINQPad.
At the end of the week, you will actually think in LINQ, rather than thinking in SQL and translating to LINQ. (LINQPad also allows old-fashioned SQL queries for tasks are genuinely impossible or clumsy in LINQ. You'll feel an unpleasant sense of failure, though, should you cheat and use this feature frivolously :)
The new iPod touch is (almost) exactly what I wanted.
Steve Jobs live -- Apple's "The beat goes on" special event - Engadget#end
The only thing it lacks for me is 160G of storage, but I can live with that for now. Oddly, no mention of Bluetooth but I assume it's there so my MotoRockr headphones will work without the adapter. (UPDATE: no bluetooth, it's a BIG letdown! But I still have my adapter.)
Wifi, browser, fullscreen video, this is an awesome device. If it worked with Verizon I wouldn't need a phone, but I think I will be using Skype more and more now.
The capabilities of Wifi with this easily hackable device are going to be awesome. If only Microsoft would make a decent device like this that supports Silverlight and has a real SDK I might get one. For now, I am sold on iPod. The Zune doesn't even come close for me with its restrictive interface and DRM.
In fact, I bought 2.
